Day 1 - 3 DELHI

You will be picked up from Delhi Airport with a signed board under your name, as per your arrival details. Taken to your hotel to be recovered. Early arrivals have the possibility to explore Delhi, depending on your preferences. Immerse yourself into Indian History, Politics and Religion. Discover The Independence Struggle, Major sites of Democratic India (India Gate, President’s House, Parliament House) and today´s life of Indian Capital city. Experience Gandhi Smriti, Qutub Minar (The insignia of Islamic Dynasties in India and Mughal Empire). Experience by Rickshaw Old Delhi (Shahjahanabad). Impressive monuments: Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib (A Sikh Temple), Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, Akshardham Temple and Sufi Saint Mosque known as Nizamuddin. Awake every sense by visiting Chandni Chowk market.

Day 3 - 5 JAIPUR

Rajasthan Pink City and capital surrounded by monuments, palaces and magic.

Live the City Palace, Jal Mahal, Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace), Jantar Mantar (Astronomical Observatory built in 17th Century). In the evening you could have a walk in Old Walled City and through the area of local market. Experience the mind blowing Amber Fort and its countless stories and the beautiful Birla Temple. Later on, immerse yourself in the markets known as Johri Bazar and Choti Chopper. Jaipur is famous for its unique Jewellery market.

Day 5 – 6 AGRA

Arriving to Agra means to experience the utmost romantic history of all times in front of your eyes.

Closed on Friday, be aware. You could enjoy the sunset Taj Mahal view from the backside of River Yamuna. If time permits, you could visit the Red Fort on same day. If not possible the day after during sunrise, along with Taj Mahal.

Day 6 – 8 AJANTA & ELLORA

Explore the Ajanta and Ellora Caves declared by UNESCO a World Heritage. Visit and explore Bibi-Ka-Maqbara (The Lady’s Tomb), The burial mausoleum of Aurangzeb´s wife Rabia, known as The Taj of the Deccan, a true symbol of remembrance. Taste the cuisine dishes influenced by The Mughal Empire such as Pulao and Biriyani.

Day 8 – 10 MUMBAI

Feel the energy of this impressive city and live the Elephanta Caves. Experience as well Dharavi, the area where Bollywood movie and Oscar Winner, “Slumdog Millionaire” has been shot.

Day 11 - 12 ALLEPPEY

Enjoy a Boat Ride at Vembananad Lake, which offers a fascinating insight into the life of Keralan Backwater. On the narrow strip of land you could appreciate the fishing fishermen, children swimming, and women doing their daily chores. Experience any place you find on the way, loose yourself and unravel the magic of the place.

Day 12 – 14 THEKKADY

Boating on the Lake Periyar and witness the fascinating Wildlife and unique animal sanctuaries in India. Visit the fragrant spice plantations of cardamom, cinnamon, pepper, and coffee. Enjoy the Tea States as well. Shop in the local market for natural seasonings to take home.

Distance from Thekkady to Munnar: 3h (90 km)

Day 14 – 15 MUNNAR

One of the highest Tea growing lands in the world. Visit Eravikulam National Park, home of the endangered Nilgiri Thar (Ibex). Experience Mattupetty Dam, the Indo Swiss Dairy farm and the Kundala Lake.

Distance from Munnar to Delhi via Cochin: 4h (Flight) 3h Drive

Day 15 DELHI

You have the option to prepare for the next day departure and stay relaxed at your hotel.

Or visit Delhi if you are very active and would like to explore some markets in the city: Chandni Chowk Market, The Kinari Bazaar (Wedding Market), Textile Market (Wholesale Market), The Book Market, the very interesting Spice Market (Grind and Whole Spices). If your preferences are around art and architecture you could visit: Fateh Puri Mosque, Sis Ganj Guradwara, Jain Temple and The Shiva Temple as well. Depending on your peace and comfort.

Day 16 DEPARTURE
