Lumbini

The birthplace of Siddhartha Gautama – better known as Lord Buddha – in the 7th century BC. During the years following the Buddha’s lifetime, was a teeming monastic complex and a major place of pilgrimage, but the site was lost to history until the discovery in 1896 of an inscribed pillar left behind by the Buddhist emperor Ashoka, amidst a sea of monastery ruins.

Pokhara

Day 1 - 3 DELHI

ou will be picked up from Delhi Airport with a signed board under your name, as per your arrival details. Taken to your hotel to be recovered.  
 
Early arrivals have the possibility to explore Delhi, depending on your preferences.
Immerse yourself into Indian History, Politics and Religion. Discover The Independence Struggle, Major sites of Democratic India (India Gate, President’s House, Parliament House) and today´s life of Indian Capital city. Experience Gandhi Smriti, Qutub Minar (The insignia of Islamic Dynasties in India and Mughal Empire). Experience by Rickshaw Old Delhi (Shahjahanabad). Impressive monuments: Jama Masjid, Red Fort, Raj Ghat, Gurudwara Bangla Sahib (A Sikh Temple), Humayun’s Tomb, Lotus Temple, Akshardham Temple and Sufi Saint Mosque known as Nizamuddin. Awake every sense by visiting Chandni Chowk market.

Day 3 – 5 MANDAWA

A genuine town where you could appreciate rural and traditional life in Rajasthan. An outdoor museum displaying unique architecture and mural paintings every step you take. Experience the Heritage Walk to witness the mansions built during the Silk Route, known as Havelis.
 
Next stop: Jaipur

Day 5 -7 JAIPUR

Rajasthan Pink City and capital surrounded by monuments, palaces and magic. 
Live the City Palace, Jal Mahal, Hawa Mahal (Wind Palace), Jantar Mantra (Astronomical Observatory built in 17th Century).
 
In the evening you could have a walk in Old Walled City and through the area of local market. Experience the mind blowing Amber Fort and its countless stories and the beautiful Birla Temple. Later on, immerse yourself in the markets known as Johri Bazar and Choti Chopper. Jaipur is famous for its unique Jewellery market.

Day 7 – 9 AGRA

Arriving to Agra means to experience the utmost romantic history of all times in front of your eyes. 
Closed on Friday, be aware. You could enjoy the sunset Taj Mahal view from the backside of River Yamuna. If time permits, you could visit the Red Fort on same day.  If not, the day after sunrise, with Taj Mahal visit.

Day 9 – 11 VARANASI

Day 11 – 13 LUMBINI

Land of Holy Gautam Buddha. Visit the Sacred Garden with Maya Devi temple where Lord Buddha´s life is depicted.
 
See the Ashoka Pillar listed as World Heritage site and Shakya Tank temple. As well the remmnants of Monasteries and Chaityas built over centuries.
 
Excursion to Tilaurakot, the ancient capital of Kapilvastu, ancient Kingdom of Shakya Dynasty, Zone Monastery  and Lumbini village.
 
Next stop: Chitwan National Park

Day 13 – 15 CHITWAN NATIONAL PARK

Experience a fascinating wildlife reserve of grasslands with elephant ride. Adventure yourself traversing streams on canoes and open jeep safaris in mud tracks going deep into this unique jungle.

Day 15 – 17 POKHARA

In the heart of Nepal this naturally gifted valley will mesmerize you. Drive and spot the glimpse of the Mt. Machapuchare among other peaks. Transfer to your hotel by boat ride and experience the peaceful Fewa and Barahi Lakes.
 
Witness a breathtakingly sunrise over the array of snow capped mountains. As well an spectacular sunrise on the way to Sarangkot.

Day 20 DELHI

You have the option to prepare for the next day departure and stay relaxed at your hotel. Or visit Delhi if you are very active and would like to explore some markets in the city:  Chandni Chowk Market, The Kinari Bazaar (Wedding Market), Textile Market (Wholesale Market), The Book Market, the very interesting Spice Market (Grind and Whole Spices).
 
If your preferences are around art and architecture you could visit: Fateh Puri Mosque, Sis Ganj Guradwara, Jain Temple and The Shiva Temple as well. Depending on your peace and comfort.

Day 21 DEPARTURE
